Below is a copy of a letter that showed up in my mailbox today, seems that there is very little support for this issue; check it out. This might be the one and only time that ASHI and NACHI are in agreement.
---------------SNIP!------------------
ASHI President Jim Fahs and Licensing Committee Chair Tom Tafelski have asked that this email be sent to you asking for your support and IMMEDIATE ACTION.
Legislation regulating Florida home inspectors passed the legislature and has been sent to the Governor for his signature. This legislation will mislead home buyers and is generally bad for our industry.
We are asking you to contact the Governor today and ask him to VETO the bill. To assist you, ASHI Suncoast has developed the following:
A form letter
Put the letter (or one in your own words) on your letterhead, sign it and email or fax it to Governor Bush.
An ASHI position statement
Use the position statement to become familiar with ASHI's official stance on this new regulation. It can also be used for talking points if you call the Governor's office.
A News Release
The news release has been sent to ASHI's extensive media list. It is attached for your reference and may be used to send to any media contacts you have.
We only have a few days to convince the Governor to VETO this bill. Please take time to do this NOW.
Thank you.

If it doesn’t go to the Gov. for a signature then what happens? I have been very busy working but I have been sending an email a day to Jeb. I am real close to having my kids send Him Email’s as well.

thanks for the reminder. It is always cool to know that you are on the front lines.
Mark, Cool Website!
I however would consider adding some "sample" letters that could be easily adapted...take it from me (and Joe as well I would imagine) most want to help but can't or don't have time to compose a letter. Joe created a letter and I did some editing to the same.
I would think that Joe would have no problem with you using it, as also I would not have a problem with you using mine:
