If our government bans us from accessing TikTok, the Chinese should dump their U.S. treasuries and crush the dollar

What information can China glean from our phones? I suspect it will probably be as much as Google or the NSA can. ( I am certain I missed a lot below)

  1. Listen to our conversations (both on the phone and in person)
  2. Monitor/track our banking transactions
  3. Monitor/track our purchasing habits
  4. Monitor/track our travel and stays
  5. Record video and audio and have access to all on the phone
  6. Access all media (photos, documents, etc.)
  7. Possibly capture password/keystrokes

I do not think it takes much imagination to conclude this “might be” a national security concern, considering the vast majority of Americans have cell phones. And AI can sort it all.

You said “might be.” That may be true. But what we know with 100% certainty is that our government is a national security concern. We know what they do with regard to information they don’t want us to have and it’s horrible. Biden actually tried to set up an agency called “The Ministry of Truth” to quash information that he doesn’t want out. It’s on pause currently: https://mcmorris.house.gov/posts/bidens-ministry-of-truth-on-pause

Think of all the government lies that worked even though we can access other platforms like TikTok or Al Jazeera or Alex Jones or post-Musk Twitter (X). What happens when we only have government-approved information like North Korea???

That’s way worse than what TikTok does to children who’s parents let them spend too much time on it.

It is on pause publicly but has been in effect for many years. Of course, we all know it was in full force during COVID-19 to prevent the population from being exposed to dissenting views.

Why would Trump want to support banning TikTok?

…and this doesn’t even include his families’ interest in manufacturing their “goods” their.

There’s no question Democrats want us to believe their lies.

Why? Because you and I won’t be around to see the ruin created by Chinese lies?

Try that line on someone who escaped Mao Se Tung’s China. There is simply no comparison. The “new” China is not so different. You would not be allowed your opinion. Speak it and you would simply disappear. There is no “unrest” in China, it is not allowed.

Just my opinion, but you seem to take much of your success with InterNACHI for granted. It simply would not have happened in another country.

Think about this. This forum would be banned in China…No?

This is what the “tiktok” bill does to any Americans that ‘they’ decide they don’t like.
