http://www.nachi.org/deals.htm offers a lot of discounts to NACHI members but is there something else you buy or are thinking about buying? I’ll procure a NACHI member discount.

Paul hit on PorterValleys InspectVue. I’m a user as well and ask you to secure discounting for yearly upgrades, maintenance and 24 hour email / website support for NACHI members.

Porter Valley Software offers some sort of NACHI member discount, I think $100 off or something. Contact NACHI’s Director at Large, Lorne Steiner for details at: Lorne.Steiner@nachi.org

We don't need a discount on software we already own.
We need a discount on that pesky $250.00 a year update and tech support fee. icon_eek.gif

Nick,
See if you can get a discount on Panasonic tough book tablet pc cf-18. The units are ruggedized to military specs and have an outdoor viewable screen in direct sunlight. They are very expensive compared to other units but are made to take a beating in the field.

Nick,
In an effort to deter my computer printed reports from being copied I had thought about printing the reports on paper that included a security watermark like those on checks. If the original is scanned, photocopied or faxed a word such as VOID shows up in large bold letters across the document. The blank 8.5x11 pages would contain only the preprinted security watermark and possibly be 3 holed pre-punched as well.
I went to a local office supply place to inquire about pricing. Wow lets just say quantity and $ was more than I could afford.
Would the NACHI presses be capable of producing such a product for its members?

I just read your post. I have Mark Newcomer sending me software cd’s and other material for our initial chapter meeting here in Brantford Ontario. I will work on the inclusion of NACHI in their promo material. I know a few others who are AHIT grads and now are looking at NACHI so maybe Mark will jump on the bandwagon.
