Would appreciate any comments to this course if you have taken it or otherwise…
I know there is no way to cover everything out there, I keep seeing things I have never seen before on inspections.
thanks,
Steve

What course are you referring to??
The one he’s jumping into of course! ![]()
jumping can be quite dangerous, perhaps a casual stroll would be a better approach…
I jumped once and that was enough.
[Structural Inspections]
Im thinking the top of the page must not show on the post.
Thanks
If you didn’t include it in the main post… you didn’t say it!
This isn’t Facebook, and most of us don’t assume!!
Say what you mean, and ask what you need.
You didn’t do either.
I suspect I took that structural course when I got certified. Realize that there is a lot that is not covered in NACHI training. Many of us came into this work from construction, which is solid background. You appear to be in a different boat, and I suspect you are going to have to research new to you issues as you find them. Subscribe to Fine Homebuilding, for one. If your state has contractor licensing, attend their annual continuing education courses. Many of those courses can be taken on line too; I used to take Contractor CE classes from Kaplan, good courses.
Me too, and I’ve been doing this for almost 21 years. ![]()
As for the course, take your time and understand what exactly it is your studying and the purpose for it. I would use AI and ask any questions on any subject or component you may not completely understand.
