Could someone please give me some insight into the new New York State requirement for licenses. First where can I obtain a copy of the new legislation, secondly by the time the law goes into affect my company will have been in business for 2 years and 10 months. At my present work load I anticipate over 250 house inspections completed. Is this enough to be grandfathered. Thanks Mike

This looks close to NACHI,

2 years and 250 inspecions will mean that you only need to take and pass a state approved exam to be grandfathered. Its a safe bet that the NHIE will fit the bill. We have an on-line mock test prep on this site for members only, if you are interested.
