When you see a breaker of a different manufacturer than the panel manufacturer, do you call it out?
Most panels it will say right on the door “approved for use with _____ equipment only. Use of other components may be hazardous and may void manufacturers warranty.”
Sometimes…
NEC 110-3(b) prohibits the use of equipment where labeling strictly disallow the use of those components.
The panel label on a 25 year old panel may be out of date. There may be other newer breaker designs approved since that time. You would need an up-to-date list of acceptable breakers for that panel…well beyond our scope.
Depends… If they fall right out of the panel when the front cover is removed…Well…
