Mold in the Attic Space?

I’m thinking this is mold. Could not get close enough?

In my area, my first thought would be bat droppings.

In a beach area, east coast.

Possible roach/cricket poop on the wood.

Mine also…
Note the staining on the wall where it made contact when dropping to the floor. This only happens from Bats while perched.

A pic of what’s above this area may help to confirm.

Reasons for not entering a floored attic space with a side door access:
A. None I can think of.
B. Still none I can think of.
C. Refer to friends for ideas.
D. Hope no one notices.

It appears to be some droppings of some sort. (Bat likely) In my experience that does not look like mold that I have encountered.
