The way you arrange your logo with the image and the font can become a way for people to recognize the design. While it’s common to center elements in a logo, this approach can result in logos that have the downside of looking similar to one another. Remember the goal of a logo is to help people to remember your specific company. If you’re using an image at all, it should be to reinforce the name. If your name can’t be reflected in an obvious image, it might be better to use a wordmark logo.
