Just as a review to anyone who missed it before:
A logo design is not to show people what you do. If someone found your website or picked up your brochure, they already know that they are looking for a home inspector (and home inspection is probably in your company name). A unique logo design that looks professional and doesn’t employ over-used imagery is automatically easier to remember.
This logo employs an image of a dog followed by the letters K9. I will remember this logo instead of a bunch of other company logos precisely because it is different and it ties an image to a graphic.
Some questions to ask yourself before you start branding your company:
Can my company name tie-in easily to an image?
What images are used by every other inspection company and how do I avoid them or make them unique to my company?
