New OSHA Residential Fall Protection

I am an old fart and proud of it I have never stated I did not follow safety precautions. I follow them to the detail that is how I don’t make silly mistakes and fall. I spent 22-1/2 years working in a refinery and have taken every fall safety class ever presented on a yearly format. Just keep in mind it takes two to have a accident, only one to make a mistake

22.5 years of refinery safety training means your in the top 1/10 of 1% regarding safety training exposure. Your lucky to have had it and have me beat hands down.

“Just keep in mind it takes two to have a accident, only one to make a mistake” is a great safety slogan. Without endorsing OSHA and more rules, can we agree that going onto a roof outside the bounds of OSHA guidelines might be a mistake for an unacceptable percentage of workers?

Best regards and continued safety.

I don’t always sign the form on the counter. I did the first few times then I saw one that looked like chicken scratch. They are not always in every foreclosure either.

My training many years ago with regard to OSHA was primarily related to confined space entry and Oxygen deficient / explosive atmospheres…
When mistakes can cause immediate death, you pay closer attention…
Additional regulations are just that…
… new regulations affecting the operation of the business…
charge accordingly and note the additional requirements to fulfill the clients expectations…

New Fed Gov. regulations provide additional revenue…
