What is a “smoke arrestor”? Don’t you want the smoke to be able to exit the chimney flue?
It is stated that ventilation looks adequate. Is she using the rule “1 sq ft of vent area for every 150 sqft of attic space” found in Internachi training materials? From the video I’m estimating 1800 sqft of attic space and only 4 steel roof vents (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Gibraltar-Building-Products-Galvanized-Steel-Roof-Vent-38-sq-in-Net-Free-Area-in-Brown-RVG38BR/202092817 ) of 38 in^2 each each.
Owens corning says a roof this size needs 864 In^2 NFVA for a roof this size. That’s 23 of those little Gibraltar roof vents.
