Tub valve plumbed backwards today. How does that tip work again?
C means Caliente, right?

** if that is a cartridge style faucet they should be able to remove the handle at the set screw, rotate the cartridge 180 deg, and re-attach the handle …generally a simple 2 minute fix…jim**

If you read it again, it does not say to turn ON a valve. It says turn OFF the
valve to the water heater (long enough for the test).
If it is already ON, why would it hurt to turn it off for this simple test.? Your not
going to flood anything by turning it off.
Then who turns it back on?
