NYS Approved Home Inspector Continuing Education is mandatory for each Home Inspector, Licensed in New York State, before he/she renews their license. NYS issues an approval code to verify that the course is approved for Home Inspection CEU Credit. The courses will start with the Letter “L”.   • NYS Approved for 6 Hours. Plumbing Illustrated will discuss the role of a Home Inspector as it relates to the visual inspection of plumbing, including water supply,
  • waste systems, holding tanks, etc. A great course for the active inspector. Lively discussion in class.
  • “B”** 8/14/09 **ELECTRIC WIRING & THE INSPECTION
  • 3 HOURS 2-5PM……………………………………….$ 75
  • NYS 3 hour class concentrating on electrical wiring for homes, from newer homes to older homes that have not be upgraded. We even show a 15 amp
  • fuse panel from the early 1900’s. Homes come in all shapes and sizes and all types of electrical wiring.
  • **“C” ****8/15/09 **RESIDENTIAL FRAMING SEMINAR
  • 6 HOURS 8-2PM……………………………………………$ 150
  • NYS Approved for 8 Hours. Residential Framing will discuss types of common and not so common framing of a home, and how a Home Inspector inspects
  • same for wear, tear and obsolescence. Detailed discussion for Home Inspectors in NYS for visual inspections
  • “D”** 8/15/09 **THE BETTER MOUSE TRAP
  • **** 2 HOURS 2-4pm………………………………………………………$ 50
  • NYS 2 hour course, in which we discuss the components of a home and how they work together. This is why we refer this to The Better Mouse Trap. How
  • homes are built, why they are built a certain way and how the method of building determines the time a home will remain standing. A lively discussion.
