When you get your downloads, are the sites all over the map or pretty close together?
Been certified for over a year and a half but never deployed. Got the call for Michigan last year - had to decline (running business here). Got geared up and ready for Florida last year, but figured the first 2 months would be chaos...which it was. So waited a couple months until October, but caught the nasty 3-week flu.
Haven't tried this year yet.
I always wondered if you spend more time inspecting or more time driving. Might just wait for a nice earthquake or flood out west at this point. ![nachi_sarcasm.gif](upload://6HQh6KbNiD73gqTNQInjrR2zeJw.gif)

I returned from Ms 2 weeks ago, was down there for 6 weeks completed over 400 inspections. The first week was pretty much a write off, between briefing and review, finding a pillow and traveling, didn’t get much done.
I averaged 10-14 a day after that. I shot for at least 80 inspections a week. I would have stayed longer but had some problems at home and had to take care of them. So, I am hoping to be able to go back in Jan, if they are still working.
Its difficult getting the scheduling done right, but the inspections are not anything like our home inspections, they really do only take 15-30 minutes. I felt if I could get the scheduling right, I could do 16-20 a day. (my best day was 18 )
If you have been to class I would expect to be deployed with in a week. Hope this helps

Jamie,
From what I read last week, they had 2.8 million inspection requests. Still were at least 2 million outstanding. I think they'll be there for a few months more. ![icon_smile.gif](upload://b6iczyK1ETUUqRUc4PAkX83GF2O.gif)
