Do you all “call out” or inform your clients in any way when plumbing is located on exterior walls, if in an area of the country subject to freezing? e.g. tub/shower “wet wall” on exterior wall. TIA.
Piping that was in need of insulation. We recommend all exposed exterior piping be insulated as to prevent breakage during cold weather conditions.
In Maine winters it is not recommended and if they are, they will freeze insulated or not. There is a way to insulate the cavity so they won’t freeze, but that has to be done during the build.

I’m in Oklahoma, so I only write up if the hose faucet is not 'Frost Proof".
