I have taken a class about pool inspections but am still unclear about the valve inspection. Where can I find a diagram or instruction about valve inspection? Basically, when I test one valve how do I know which other valves are supposed to be on or off? Any links or tips are geratly appreciated.
What “valve” are you referring to?
Generally, it’s not a good idea to operate any of the valves unless you are familiar with the particular system. Many newer systems have automatic (remote) valve operation.
I have a suspicion that you are actually referring to the pressure limit switch for the heater - which is a safety system that should be checked.
