As I said, I DO put it in the main inspection report.
Just not the 4 point, because they don’t ask about it.
I don’t force the issue, I let the client decide what they want to do with the info. If the realtor or buyer want it done, that’s what negotiation is for
I am curious why they don’t use transformers AND Gfci on a light. I rarely ever see Gfci, it’s typically just a transformer. But it seems if the transformer were to fail, at least it would have a backup.

This inspection also does not determine the proper function of the GFCI or transformer that is a safety requirement when there is a light installed in the pool. I merely check for the presence of electrical protection, not the proper function of said equipment. These are installed for safety against electrocution, but determining if these are working properly is outside the scope of this inspection, and would need to be performed by a licensed electrician.
