  1. Why is hot on the left, cold on the right?
back in the 19th century, when indoor plumbing was introduced, water was generated by a hand pump. The hand pump had but one trick: producing cold water. And since most people were – and still are — right-handed, the pump was placed on the right side of the sink

**Thanks everyone for being here. I’m very pleased & relieved there was NO BS rants/complaints & all went smooth! We all deserve it. .

It should have been B or E…
Co·ri·o·lis ef·fect

an effect whereby a mass moving in a rotating system experiences a force (the Coriolis force ) acting perpendicular to the direction of motion and to the axis of rotation. On the earth, the effect tends to deflect moving objects to the right in the northern hemisphere and to the left in the southern and is important in the formation of cyclonic weather systems.

Yeah I saw that. That effect applies to “earthly” physics, not something small like a sink or toilet. Hurricanes, yes.
I am Bart Simpson & you are Lisa!
or… am I on Candid Camera.

The Coriolis effect must be taken into account in extreme long range rifle shooting. I don’t think it will affect your toilet bowl rotation or your pee stream.

Hobo Chili soon to be swirlin’ in the bowl!
