1: 6 months seems to be the most common for synthetic, although different products do very a lot.
2: D
3: Termites lose their wings after swarming and finding a new nest area.
4: Slope is rise over run usually in inches per foot, ie: 4 inches up in each foot of run, but can also be said as a fraction like 4:12; while pitch is rise over (total) span in terms of a ratio. I think the difference between using a run distance vs the total span probably causes the most confusion.
1 - C (Typical - depends on vendor instructions. There’s a GAF product rated for 18 months exposure I’ve personally installed when a long exposure was needed.)
2 - D (But AHJ’s differ on what defines accessible)
3 - Wings are just for migration and establishing new colonies. The wings drop because they’d just be in the way underground in wood.
4 - Pitch compares the roof’s span to the rise while slope compares rise and run.
5 - C (Copper) (order silver, copper, gold but depends on alloy).

3) Why do termites lose their wings? Termites use their wings to fly a short distance, locate a new home, and find a mate. Once they’ve accomplished these goals, they shed their wings and get to work creating a new colony

4) What, if any, is the difference of a:
Roof Slope
Roof Pitch Roof slope is:
*the incline of the roof, expressed as a ratio of the vertical rise to the horizontal run, with the run * being a portion of the span. will always be inches per ft
Roof Pitch is described as:
*The incline of the roof expressed as a fraction by dividing the rise by the span. Span being the * distance between the outside of one wall top plate to the other.
