Thanks Larry

Just make sure the flow is there and you are able to shut it off.

Hard to inspect what you can not see.

Larry:

- Check for Tempering provisons to control the temperature of the water to the slab.
- Check for the number of zones and points of isolation.
- Check for type of piping if visible if the system is within a slab.

Copper, PEX, PEX-ALPEX, PB, Entran & Entran II were widely used.

Report on the piping types with recommendations in regard to each types use and limitations.

Hi All,

Thanks for the replies. I guess they are going to have an HVAC contractor their. I’ll still do my inspection of the unit, independent of his. I think they fill better having someone that specializes in the operation of the unit.

I was wrong when I said it was baseboard,it is a slab. I have never inspected one of these. I’ll have to get the books out. I don’t want the HVAC guy to think I’m some kind of bozo icon_confused.gif
