Rec Center Inspection Pics from Commercial Property Inspector Training in Arkansas

Last week, we hosted the Introduction to Commercial Property Inspections 3-Day Class in Springdale, Arkansas.

Students applied what they learned during a guided mock inspection of a recreation facility. Instructor Rob Claus led walk-throughs of the building’s main systems, including:

  • Commercial water heaters
  • High-efficiency boilers
  • Air handling units (AHUs)
  • Chillers
  • Electrical and gas mains and shut-offs
  • Switchgear, switchboards, and panelboards
  • Backup emergency diesel generator
  • Building envelope components
  • Cooling towers
  • Parking areas and interior common areas

Students also inspected key areas such as MEP rooms, the pool equipment room, a commercial kitchen, ice rink, gymnasium, restrooms, and more.

The classroom sessions covered business practices, inspection procedures based on the ComSOP, and how to inspect and document key systems and component, such as common defects to report.
