The cottage i was interested in the guys say they used recycled wood in the 1970’s to build it. Would you consider that a problem?
Depends upon where the wood was recycled from…
…and where it was used in the contruction of the home.
Majority of the older lumber was more stable and stronger than what’s harvested today. Recycling building materials has been done since the beginning of building. I wouldn’t want the wood from rail road ties. I would just ask more details.
