Reason:

When inspecting the exhaust vents in a bathroom, it is very important that the exhaust be vented outside the home and not directly into the attic. This can be accomplished by securely fastening the duct work to the bathroom exhaust fan and venting it outside the home either through the roof or the siding. It is important to keep the duct as straight as possible.
