Your Post made my Day thanks for a great chuckle … Roy

yep larger diameter and a little longer and a little closer to the front Robin

no strings attached

I understand they also make good fish floats too .

Hope you and Char are well Roy!

Thanks Bill Life sure is great for us

that would involve hook, line, and sinker

Like this, Carl?

Yeah Buddy!!!

In what universe did you find that Larry? LOL

Now that this is shown does anyone know the reason backer rod is needed?

Thank you Larry!

Yes so the caulking can bend expand . It Makes the caulking thin at the centre .Solid caulk can not flex correctly .

Hay Carl! Long time no hear!

Hope all is well.

Please, don’t teach this stuff too well. I made a good living last year on this stuff! Lots of nice road trips too! $$$

Keeping water out of the wall, as much as possible, is a no brainer. I recommend sealant at windows for water and air infiltration reasons.

Have him write it down on his letter head and sign (CYA). I agree with Joe F need to keep the water out.

glad to hear your doing well.
for the most part all is well in oz thanks.

me talking about it is by no means gonna get them to.do it right.

Falls on deaf ears because they’re plugged with backer rod…

and sealed from the inside

say it aint so

Its a good idea for drapes to stop 2 inches from the ceiling and 4 inches from the floor It allows air to keep the windows from getting too wet .
Every window frame in this home had serious rot 7 year old home .
