Well, from the Copywrite of 1917-1944, the price went up to $1.25.
Wonder how much they cost today.
Probably somewhere in the range of $125.00.
I paid 14.50 in 1992, I have 2 of them, one in my glove box, and one in my desk. The book sure makes things easier. It has never let me down.
In my last years in framing, I was using the Construction Master which was quicker.
Same here, Marcel.
I also have the Construction Master, But I still like my book.
Nothing, they put it online or in a YouTube video and bombard you with non-stop ads in order to read it…
You can get a Construction master 5 app for 24.95 (no adds)
Always had my construction master 5 in my shirt pocket ready to go while in construction.
No apps on my flip phone. LOL
I like to know where to get that money for mine. LOL
isn’t the slop and pitch of the roof a b igg factor when it come to designing the houses? I was speaking with a designer and he told me that is I the first thing they come up with. Everything follow there after. So they use 4-12,3=9, 2-8. its all about how much material is going to be used
A sloped pitch…Or a pitched slope…
Now I’m confused.
Join the club, Christopher!
I always called it roof pitch, I did roofing from 1993 to 2013.
a roof slopes at 45 degrees is a 12/12 pitch. or just a 12 pitch. as the second 12 is just a given.
always called it pitch. like the “the roof is a 5 pitch”
I have never said " that roof is a 5 slope" as the slope refers to the angle of the roof. “it slops down on one side more then the other” or something like that.
If I said to any roofer " thats a 12 slope roof, its too steep to get up there" I would be called a moron for sure. if I put that in my report and any one see’s it they would think I’m stupid.
When I was in school for Architecture CADD we used pitch on the drawings to represent the steepness of the roof.
I think slope and pitch can be interchanged with each other. Much like sediment trap and drip leg.
Drip kid and drip kid daddy where are you?
Did You really have to go there Martin ???
