Yes, I remember those, there used to be a whole bunch of them on the I-95 in Maine.

Not sure if they were ever popular in the North, but were common driving 75 South through GA and Fl. Folks stopped just to get their famous “Pecan Rolls”.

So many memories in this post. Attached a pic if my first dirt bike. Anyone else consider sledding as getting a car hood from the junkyard and being drug on snow covered country roads.

That’s rookie behavior. Like training wheels. Boots on the ground, hands on the bumper, see if you can stay on at 15,20,25,30. No one ever got much faster than that though.
