Can you imagine how many coats would keep kids warm this winter and winters to come for $5, $10, or $20?
I remember when I was a kid I couldn’t wait until I was big enough to fit into my older brother’s U.S. Army coat. Man, was that warm! We’d wrap ourselves in plastic or ride on cardboard and down the hill we went. One evening I fell funny riding a “puddle jumper” and my siblings didn’t believe me so I had to carry it home by myself.
When we go home and I took that coat off my arm bone was poking the skin up. Yup, it was broken and I came home from the hospital licking a big ice cream cone in a cast. LOL!
