Is there any interest in forming an Alberta Chapter?

How many of you would attend an inarugural meeting?

Adam,

Opposite end of the city. I live N.E. and Mount Royal is S.W.. Not hard to get to though.
Why do you ask? Need anything? Always willing to assist.

I’m wondering if it would be an idea to contact all Alberta NACHI members to see if an interest is there. I will assist with this if you would like. I’m almost positive that not many of the NACHI members read the BB. It also looks like a lot of the members are in Edmonton at Home Crafters.

I persued this earlier by trying to contact the Alta chapter president in Calgary (?). Not sure if this guy was really the head of an Alberta or Calgary chapter or not. Was never able to get through to him via phone, email, etc.

Anyway I think it is at least worth a try.

Hi Allen

Me thinks the Alberta pres. is self proclaimed and did it for the advertizing value as there are other posts about not getting any responce from him.
I'm thinking of just setting a date for a meeting and having NACHI send out notices and if the responce is positive follow through If not cancel the meeting.

Hi Vern,

Sounds good. I would be thinking mid January or later to help many of the HI's get over the Xmas season.
