How often are electric tankless water heaters found in home inspections?
I’ve seen 4 in the last year or so.

Quite a bit. For me, it’s usually 60-40 gas/ electric. My area is probably 95% electric when it comes to WHs, but I tend to see more propane tankless.
I’m in south Florida. Tankless electric water heaters were unheard of around here until a few years ago.
I’m in central Florida. I have seen 2 electric tankless(in the Hood near The Villages). Those were too small for the expected usage and didn’t work worth a damn. As far as gas tankless, every Villages home south of Rt 44(like 20,000 homes) has a tankless gas water heater. North of there(~60,000 homes), it’s mostly tank, mostly electric with some gas.
