I have a post about Tyvek around a framed home without sheathing.
It was metal strips that were placed vertically on a 45 degree angle instead of sheathing.
Nailed into framing . Chalk lined, then cut a 1/2 curf, to accept a metal protrusion in the 1.5 inch strip of metal. Then nailed in strips vertically every 36 inches.
the angles of the metal strips hanged 180 degrees every 10 feet to give rigidity.
Like herring bone pattern in a sidewalk of uni-pavers.
Then furring strips than vinyl.

Then you wrap in Tyvek and clad with vinyl.
First house I ever managed was built like that.

I might be explaining the process wrong leaving you guess how the application looks on the outside wall framing.
My technical verbiage is lacking the names of the straps used to apply to the wood farming.
The metal T inserted into the saw kerf and nailed to each stud/ top/bottom plates was called “Windbrake”. Houses in which this system was installed seem to have lasted…I haven’t heard of any problems.
I was thinking a wind break but did not know if I wanted to put it out on the MB.

Even when roofing, the Large company used me to determine placement and layout for slope to the drain .Styrofoam layout on Commercial and Industrial building.
Out of 20 plus men on a sight, I could read out of 20 plus men. Me 21 years old and 2 years into laboring with special maneuver ticket. ( running all machinery ) except specialty cranes, cantilever and overhead 10,000. etc…
