Hi. Gerry;
I have got my hands on 3 cd's given to me by a Representative of Anderson Window Corporation that consist an enormous amount of continued education criteria that any NACHI member could use.
A preview of the information is available at (www.buildingknowledgeproducts.com)
Tis program sells for $795.00 retail and was given to me to meet continued education mandated by NACHI. I would like to know if this is acceptable and maybe NACHI would persue contacting Anderson Corporation to make this available to all NACHI members. I received it due my association with Anderson Window Corp. and Brockway/Smith the distributer in New England. I have done a job in the past where $1,000,000 of windows was purchaced and got a free trip to Minnesota to visit their plant. and recently bought another $200,000 of windows for the past year. That has something to do with the fact I got the cd's for nothing. I would like to pass it along. Sorry, I can't make copies, it is copyright protected.

Dana;
I would be tickled pink to attend this meeting in Portland, Maine.
I have been trying to find out where it is held, time, etc..
I am a veteran of this forum for only a year and not quite sure how everything works. I need direction, and would appreciate anything you could offer.
How do you dress?
Can you bring your wife?
How long does it last?
Who will be there?
What is it about?
I would be happy to involve myself to this activity and share whatever is pertinent to the cause.

I want to thank
Paul Hinsperger
Hinsperger Inspection Services
for his posting on the free on line courses. many fellow members have found this site great, and it is free. yes they describe their product, but if we don’t think specifically about the name of the brand the material seems up to date and it is NACHI accepted as well as accepted by the other major Inspection Associations.
You have helped out a lot of members wishing more information, and I wanted to make sure you knew that your posting has helped to keep NACHI members up to date.

Subject to New York State Approval, we will be offering an Approved Inspector program using the Carson Dunlop program as a classroom program, using power point presentations and we will even be supplementing each course with their video series.
But...Not until NY State approves any school. NO school have received the 100 hours of course approval to date. As I said before, we must wait and see when NY State approves the law, when each school can make application, and when the state will approve any course submitted, and the time frame for each.
For infornation on education, keep your eyes open. we will post information on the What's New section with Nick at NACHI.
Bill Merrell, Ph,D- NY Metro Education Chapter Chair
