Hello All.


I ran in to two odd ones I have newer seen today and I am trying to age them. Any help would be GREAT!

A/C Compressor
Snyder General
M# 00030GA
S# HDC7088

(I did find one post about Snyder with a phone number but the new company was unable to help.)

Gas Fired Heater
Weather King
M# GUW75AD3
S# CN3D104F21861931

If I had to take a wild guess I think 1988 on the compressor and 1986 on the heater.

What Your Opinion???

Any idea when the company changed hands? If it was, say 15 years ago, it would be safe to report that the unit is 15 or more years of age (or so on), as evidenced by the Company name on the manufacturing label.

Snyder was a Corporate Officer of Freidrich Heating & Air Conditioning and split off from them in the early 80’s to form Snyder General.


That ought to at least limit the age somewhat.
