Most inspectors start off as part time (at least in my experience). My business was built slowly, but steadily over the last 8 years. Certainly, at this point, I would call myself full time, but in truth, how much time determines “full”? I also believe that many inspectors spin their wheels & aren’t necessarily productive, but are spending idle time in the business. I can share some insights that may give perspective, if you wish.
