I’m in the process of hiring a home inspector to work work me. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while now and my soon to be employee is a licensed builder with over 20 years in the trades and is taking the course by AHIT.

My question is for those of you with help did you talk to an attorney for legalities/contract and how do you determine pay rate percentages?

Why must it be a secret? Wouldnt it make sense to talk to inspectors that have hired other inspectors?
