Its aluminum, tin coated copper has a fabric braided insulation and would be in older homes.

Wires appear to be Aluminum.

Aluminum Coated Copper?

i meant tin coated…i have aluminum on the brain so that’s what came out.

I am concerned at the sight of SOLID aluminum conductors on a 30A breaker, since the minimum for 30A is 8ga aluminum, and that ought to be stranded.

They used to make 8 gauge solid Aluminum wire, I’m not sure if they still do.
