The NACHI member will comply with NACHI’s current Continuing Education Requirements.
The NACHI member shall pass the NACHI’s Online Inspector Exam once every calendar year.
Duty to the Profession and NACHI
The NACHI member will strive to improve the Home Inspection Industry by sharing his/her lessons and/or experiences for the benefit of all. This does not preclude the member from copyrighting or marketing his/her expertise to other Inspectors or the public in any manner permitted by law.

In your arrogance do not think that just because I am not responding on this national forum that you have intimidated me, or that all will be forgotten or forgiven.
Based on these (2) quotes made by you I am now in fear of bodily harm from you and I am preferring a violation of ethics against you. Furthermore, I am contacting the police in your town and notifying them of this veiled threat of violence (I believe it is called brandishing) you have publicly made.

Ok lets take this to the ethics commitee section and get back to the original topic and protect us washington inspectors.
We need to stick together. Lets start having a monthly meeting for all washington state NACHI Inspectors and form a NACHI Call to Action Commitee, and all of us meet monthly to draw this legislation up and get it veiwed.
Back in November I had attended a WSPCA training seminar in Renton, at this seminar there was a draft that was passed out that was less one sided, that I have saved to my computer but do not know how to get it on this thread for you all to veiw. He is now in possession of your postings, maybe you should contact him 603-887-2080 and ask him what he thinks. He did not say too much but alluded to past issues, have you been in this kind of trouble before and was anyone injured?
Your implied threats are documented through the message board for all to see, as always I will allow the membership to make up their own mind. By the way, I believe the majority of the membership see me as someone who works (sometimes under hostile conditions) for the betterment of this profession, I don’t always get it right, but you don’t have that same luxury.
At this time I believe it would be best for NACHI and everyone concerned if you were relieved of all duties regarding the ESOP committee, you can be of little help in your condition. The ESOP committee like all of NACHI is designed to serve the membership, not to be used as a vehicle to carry out personal vendettas against its members. Your inclusion on the ESOP committee is a mockery to the membership, your rage makes you incapable of putting both NACHI and its members first and you should step down or be removed.

There are areas in this bulletin board that you can post what you want. Do it there so those of us that have little spare time can peruse the useful areas of this bulletin board without having to continually work past your posts.
On the topic, I sent letters to each member on the Labor Committee over a month ago and have not heard a word. You can go on the Washington State Legislative website and register your email address so you can receive specific updates on the bills you want to watch. They sometimes send 1 or 10 a week with the time date and place of the hearings for each committee. There have not been any in regards to this particular bill. SB6229.
Ted, I would be happy to host this at my Olympic Peninsula NACHI Chapter. We are in the process of arranging the Kick Off date which will be held at the Alderbrook Resort and Spa in UNION. We are trying to get a speaker on the subject so it would be a perfect time to address it.
Hey Wendy, Ted and any other Washington State inspectors, since we went wildly off topic in this thread anyway, let me ask you all a question. If you’re familiar with the Wa. St. Agr. requirements for financial coverage, I’ve got quotes for occurrance based E & O and also claims made. I may want to go with the claims made in which case I need a $12,500 surety bond. I’m having a hell of a time finding anyone that does surety bonds for WDO with the state reqs. Is anyone out there familiar with an agency that does these bonds? I need to get it done like yesterday.

That’s ok. After my post I called WA. Agr. and they gave me the # of Wa. St. Pest Cntrlr. Assn. (WSPCA) and they have links. Talked to a really nice and informative insurance guy who does it all. Gil Stuart @ Pickett Insurance. Writes policies for Allen, CS Risk and others (Occurance and claims made) and he does the surety bonds. Let me know if anyone needs his #.
