And you know I like to argue, especially with you. 
IMO Biden should have never stated that he would never have pardoned Hunter, nor should he have done it, although in all honesty, most of us would have done the exact same thing if we were in the same position.
Biden has now taken away any argument about the other side doing the same and breaking any related norms.

Yep. And if I were Biden I would own it. And in his signature way, something like “Hell yeah I pardoned my son and you would have too!” I think the American people expect it.

It was an election ploy. He was always going to pardon him. That’s why Hunter pleaded guilty instead of going through a long, drawn out court case that may have went into Trump’s term, where he would likely have no chance at a pardon. Whether Biden, Harris, or Trump won, he was going to get pardoned after the election.
I disagree somewhat. Hunter’s charges were chump change compared to the J6 rioters who stormed the Capitol. They should not be pardoned. Too severe of a transgression against the United States, in my opinion.

True. They were watered-down appeasement charges meant (unsuccessfully) to remove criticism of the DOJ’s biased lawfare.
Don’t forget, the FBI had the laptop a year before the story broke. And they prepped all news and social media outlets for the upcoming “earmarks of Russian disinformation” lie before the election.
But those dang Jan. 6 rioters! Such bad people! But no one is pointing the law back at the FBI.
This is how you lose confidence in the judicial system and the election. Hell, a riot might even break out due to these tactics, eh?

I hear you, but the fact that Biden lied about it in and of itself pisses me off, and whether or not he meant it at the time, I don’t know, but the explanation he gave was lacking.
As for the J6 rioters, I agree that they shouldn’t be pardoned, especially those found guilty of violent crimes against Police, but no one should be surprised when those on the right side of the political spectrum to yell foul, when those on the left complain about Trump giving out pardons, if he indeed does.

I think Biden pardoned him because he is close to dying and can’t wait. He should have pardoned Trump at the same time to provide “mercy” cover for pardoning Hunter.

I agree. You have to bust your balls to become president. I would have pardoned my son too.
And we have to hold him to that promise. He should also charge all the Capital security who violated the protestor’s First Amendment rights by not standing down, especially that sissy murderer who shot an unarmed veteran female in the back while she was protesting in the proper venue (where government is). It wasn’t like she was trying to burn down a private car dealership or something. He should do life in prison.
