Can Copper pipe be buried like this

I assume you’re not actually worried about copper lines being buried…as that’s the norm…but the lack of support where the soft copper line enters the crawl.


Doesn't look like it would take much to break the whole thing at the CPVC* fitting. Sure would be nice to have some support at the shut-off...just don't ask me how!

*If it's just PVC then we have another problem.

Dave, as Richard said, it’s the norm nowadays. But one would want to make sure, if it passes through concrete, it’s in a protective sleeve to prevent corroding.
