Chapter Meetings and Education go hand-in-hand. By re-arranging dates and times for Chapter meetings to coincide with the need for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for the Membership, we are pleased to announce that meetings will be moved from the usual Wednesday evening timeframe to Saturdays, during the day.

After consulting with many local Members, the decision to make this move will enable the offering of education in a more efficient manner by expanding on the hours previously scheduled. Arrangement for Saturdays will be as follows:

Times:

9 to 10 a.m. - for Chapter business and announcements
(open to all NACHI Members)

10 a.m. to 12 p.m. - In-depth training for Home Inspectors (open to all Inspectors, regardless of association or affiliation.

Noon to 1 p.m. - Lunch

1 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Doors will be opened to Realtors, Mortgage, Insurance Companies, etc., as well as the General Public.

There will be training for all, including Home Inspectors.

All Inspectors who attend will be asked for an entrance fee of $10.00. NACHI Members can reserve a table area from which to offer their literature to all attendees for a $25.00 fee. This includes entrance, electricity, tables, tablecloths and skirts, chairs and an area for signage. (Non-members are excluded from this option.)

General public will be asked for an entrance fee of $5.00 to cover the cost of refreshments provided.

Prizes: Draws and Door Prizes and a 50/50 Draw will be held throughout the day.

CE Eligibility:

Plenty of educational literature will be given to all who attend, including the NACHI/Cats Calendar, listing all the events being held in 2006 in Ontario. The Calendar will also direct consumers to InspectorSeek.com and Ontarioseek.com.
