I noticed the commercial SOP under electrical says to inspect the meter socket enclosure. Can anyone clarify that? Is the intent just to comment on the integrity of the enclosure?

I have no idea what it means exactly Gary, but I do report rusted, rotting switch gear panel enclosures (where the meters are located).

Barry, never mind the meter, where did the feeder wires go?

With the meter, of course. In dayton that would indicate that there is an extension cord going to a neighboring property. Marcel you snap the lock and disconnect the meter so your don’t get zapped when you take the copper wire out.
