CAHPI has started a bulletin board ,It sure looks good .
When it first went up I think it was open to all, now it has been changed and is open only to members .
This is so unfortunate it would have been a great chance for all Canadian inspectors to trade information and get to know each other.
With a bit of luck they could in the future change their mind and allow those who do not belong to CAHPI to post and ask questions.
I wish you all the best and hope many members use it to ask questions and get information.

That's an easy one. They closed it so assholes like you and Mr. Bottoms couldn't rant and rave on it.
Oh my! More twittering from the peanut gallery. Try to keep your potty-mouth in check there, Larry old boy.

No, you're not a bad guy... but you did jump into the conversation with calling me an asshole. You didn't call me a spade. You called me an asshole. That's OK, but don't cry now if you feel like a bad guy. Nobody called you a bad guy. You are a misled, misguided guy, just like everybody else... misled by Nick Gromicko, and further misled by the previously misled.
Don't tie yourself too closely to the misguided perception of an industry leader, which NACHI is definately NOT. When Nick's house of cards comes tumbling down, you'll want another iron in the fire... and you won't want too much permanent NACHI markings on your stuff.
Believe me... I'm still trying to wipe it all off.
By the way, large numbers of all those names on the US and Canadian memberlists would have their names removed... if it were possible. Nick likes big numbers, so you have to make a lot of noise - and make it very PUBLICLY - to get your name off his numbers lists. The remainder are for the most part, non-partipants. People who don't care, don't mind or didn't notice what Nick is doing - and figure "what the hell, it's a free hit on the internet... what harm could it do?" The balance of the remainder truly believe that they are getting something from NACHI that they couldn't get somewhere else for free.
Stop drinking the Kool-Aid... step back and take a look. Don't put all your eggs in the NACHI basket.

I belonged to two other forums with Dave and he could sometimes
disagree with some one .
It is only since NACHI came to Canada that he has become unraveled .
I do not know if petrified of the future or what .
He never had a foul mouth before but he sure has a lot of Bad language now .
It is too bad he used to be a nice guy and try to help people .
I sure hope not too many CAHPI members do not see Dave's posts before he removes them .
They just might be disapointed to see what has happened to the editor of The Canadain Home Inspector magazine.

I don’t know why Wand puts up with you Roy. Every time he comes close to winning a point, you jump in and turn it back into a Mutt and Jeff sequel.
I don't know if you are deluded, demented or just plain stupid, and I don't really, much care any more. I'm going to leave you guys to hash it out by yourselves for a while. By all means try to compose a sentence or two that make sense... or get your wife to do it for you, because trying to have a sensible argument with you online is like trying to teach a pig to sing.
If Gromicko decides to pay his bills, or do anything else useful in the next month or so, send me an email. And don't forget that you were going stage the Kingston chapter's Phoenix-like rise from its ashes...
If you truly believe that NACHI has so much bounty to offer, that should be a push-over. And I'm sure there's a flock of needy home inspectors in eastern Ontario who would climb over each other to share in your wisdom, insight and glory-stories of the IBEW of the past.
Go ahead... show me an important, relevant and all-encompassing NACHI for Ontario. Pitter-patter, git at'er big fella.

One thing’s for sure about Roy Cooke, Sr… he IS predictable. You just had to know after 7-10 days, that he would just HAVE to toss up some inane, irrelevant reference to CAHPI, OAHI OR ASHI.

What a rube!
Gil you are just like Pea Brain looking for something to complain about .
You can not see positive in any thing on the NACHI site .
6 months ago NACHI was number one until some how some where errors where made.
Suddenly every thing about NACHI and its members is no good .
I wonder why you and Pea Brain do not look in the mirror and learn how to smile
you just might see some good in the world.
You have given your side of the story many times and some
how it just does not seem to balance.
I expect you and Pea Brain are just like the obsolete 8 track
Tape player you keep playing the same
tune over and over and over add infinitum

You know what Mr. Bottoms,
If you couldn’t unload here with all your crap and nonsense you wouldn’t know what to do with yourself. I usually sit back and laugh at you guys but sometimes, when someone opens themselves up to a broadside I just can’t resist. I guess it’s just the rebel in me. I think Mr. Strachan is trying to cover up the fact he got caught with his fingers in the cookie jar, and, you Mr. Bottoms just don’t know when to quit while you are ahead. I have already caught you in violating the COE of both OAHI and your construction association so why don’t you just go and crawl back under your rock and come out when you have something useful and profound to say. I think you are becoming overwhelmed with seeing your posts on this board and then chickening out and deleting them.

He seems to have a VERY convenient memory .
Please look at the time of the post he made below it is 6:53 pm typical for Dave make a post then remove it after it has been read.
Fortunately I have the post and the notification of his making it .
You now can see why he is called Pea Brain .
Nothing good stays only evil.

Some days I truly believe that if you and Wand had to think in order to breathe, you'd both friggin' suffocate.
Pay attention dimwit. This is not about errors, nor is it about NACHI members. And only 1% of it has to do with the unpaid bills. STFU and pay attention.
Some day all of this NACHI crap will jump up and slap you in the face, and you likely still won't get it... so I'm not going to waste any more time trying to explain it to you, or any other Kool-Aid drinkers.
Go kiss up to Gromicko, and have fun time at NACHI.

And where, pray tell, would you have gleaned that "fact?" To call that a "fact" suggests that you have some evidence, or even a reasonable theory to suggest that I had my "fingers in the cookie jar."
If you can't back up your accusations, I suggest you STFU.
Even Gromicko never suggested any such thing. Nothing that we've ever tossed around came even close to that, except of course the inane ramblings of Roy Cooke, the babbling idiot.
Nick makes a lot of promises he can't keep, and sometimes he thinks he can get away with anything and everything. His megalomania suggests to him that he can out-fox or seduce anyone into anything. Well, he is very good at it, and he can seduce almost everyone into almost everything... but he's not perfect. And in this case, he jilted the wrong people.
Anyway, you'd best learn a little more before you start tossing smart remarks around, about who's fingers have been in which cookie jar.
I'm going back to what what I was doing before I dropped into this s#!t hole, this week. Carry on, as if you were normal... I won't be here.
