Corroded connector plates or not?

The first pic clearly shows the anti-rust coating flaking off. Once the coating is gone, the rusting is accelerated depending on the environment.

I would be more concerned with the garage door components. This stuff is supposed to be new! Not some rusty pitted crap. It may deteriorate rapidly or slowly, who knows?

Someone sure got outta hand with spraying the bleach concoction.

Yep, negligence or lack of reasonable care in my opinion. If I were the buyer, I would be giving the builder hell.

Thanks for your feedback. Almost all roof nails are rusty. Is it common to see so many rusty roof nails on one year old roof in Midwest? So fast? Seems like the builder didn’t use galvanized nails.

The rusty nails is likely from frost. Attic ventilation may need to be improved and/or sealing ceiling air leaks.

Typically, should a one-year old roof in a new construction go bad so soon with rusty nails all over the attic like these if ventilation is not good?
It looks like a 10-20 year old roof to me now. Can’t imagine how bad it will be 10 years later.
