A handshake is a key in introducing yourself to a client. If you look up the definition it will say a gripping and shaking of right hands by two individuals, as to symbolize greeting, congratulations, agreement, or farewell. It is important to have a great first and last impression. Your client is your business. Word of mouth is the best marketing to gain more clients.
I found an article on Home inspection reports and what to expect. This is very important because the report shows how detailed you inspected the property and shows your client how hard you worked for them. This detailed report is a key in building trust and showing your customer your knowledge and expertise. This is how you get repeat customers and have customers spread the word about your great work. The article covers the history of the inspection report. It tells the customer what they should look for when hiring an inspector. It covers new developments in software and how software with detailed checklist can give the client a very detailed inspection report. It goes over the narrative content of the report such as describing the conditions and concerns as well as recommendations to fix or solve problems. The report covers all sections of a house such as electrical, plumbing, structure, heating, etc.
This photo is an example of a button up collard shirt that i feel would be acceptable to wear to a home inspection. This would give off a good first impression when meeting a client who lives in a nice casual neighborhood. It would also be easy to add a tyvek suit over top of this for added protection.
In my research I learned that use the proper tense can help lower your liability. for example using past tense when writing your report can help suggest that at the time of inspections things were in working order. If one uses present tenses then it can imply a warranty.
Having worked in the construction industry for many years, in the past. Its important to present a good impression with your work truck, as well as personal appearance. If a sub- contractor pulled up in a old, beat up, rusty, smoking work truck, his work ethic may reflect this image, he portrays as well.
Your work vehicle will often be the first impression, of your company, to the prospective client. The work vehicle you arrive in, is an extension or your personal image. If you take pride in your professionalism and image, it starts with the vehicle you show up in.
Appropriate attire is one of the important factors in making a good first impression. When we approach our clients dressed for the occasion, we present a positive image of our company and show that our appearance is something we take seriously.
Maximizing perceived value is a simple way to help your clients understand how your services may benefit them both now and in the future. Supplemental informational booklets and a buy-back guarantee are both low-cost add-ons that can easily influence the client’s satisfaction with their service while simultaneously boosting the company’s profit and ratings.
My weakest area. How to get customers with all of the competition and their high powered advertising and realtor buddy links already established is a question I’ve been unable to answer. I’m about to give up on this.
I just completed the course today. This course is very informative, a little bit repetitive but well worth it if communication with others is not your strong suit. I really like how non-verbal communication was emphasized through this course, it’s very true, your posture, attire and behavior will let them know if they ever want to do business with you or your company ever again.
I’m a total noob so forgive me if I’m clueless but I suspect you did not calculation that correctly. If the span is 24 then the slope can’t be 12/24 unless it’s a lean-to because slope only relates to the run, not the span. Assuming the roof is symmetrical wouldn’t the slope be 12/12 and the pitch be 1/2?
