The photo I reviewed was referring to air pressure and radon entry. It shows the importance of having Radon tests as well as blower door test to determine the rate at which the air leaking causing the potential for radon gases in the home.
When choosing a profile photo I based it on my target community. Showing myself, as myself. This has resulted in 100% positive feedback over the years. This photo has become my “Brand”. My business cards stand out as a result. I believe the photo alone, gives a comfortable feeling to potential clients that I am a regular person, like them.

I do not complete reports-I must maintain a license with the state to satisfy HUD standards. I have never actually completed a home inspection for a purchaser. I do not feel that I should be required to complete an essay

The picture was taken from my own SUV that I will use it for home inspection. I am going to wash my SUV everyday. As per this course advised it is a best practice to be clean personally and have all equipment organised.
the article was chosen from InterNACHI web site that is called " Scheduling an Inspection". Most client are realtor agency with a buyer. They are under pressure of accepting the deal and sign it. Be on schedule for home inspection will give a trust for the clients to make their other appointment such as mortgage in time.
How I interact with potential clients prior to hiring, during the initial meeting, throughout the inspection and after the inspection has been completed will have a significant effect on the future success of my inspection business, and all interactions should be handled with care.
customer satisfaction is extremely important and will be measured by my physical and verbal communication, how i talk, dress act and shake hands all the way to how thoroughly i conduct the inspection. one can not be overly professional in this line of work.
I believe answering the phone politely and always with a smile makes potential clients feel like they’ve made the correct decision in calling. It also makes for a good first impression over the phone and shows what type of business they’ll be hiring.
In the article I read, I learned 10 easy ways to save money and energy in your home. The first is to find better ways to cool and heat your household. The second is to invest in installing a tankless water heater. The third is to replace all incandescent lights with LEDs or CFLs. The fourth is to make sure your home is properly sealed insulated correctly. The fifth is to make sure you’ve installed efficient showerheads and toilers throughout. The sixth is to responsibly used your home electronics and appliances. The seventh is use natural light to illuminate your household. The eighth is to insulate all windows and doors correctly. The ninth is to cook smarter, not harder. Use the appliances correctly to save not only money but time. The tenth and final way is simply change the way you do your laundry.
Before studying to become a home inspector I was a server at a restaurant where the customer came first. We made sure our guest were happy from the time they walked in until they left. customer service has been apart of ever job ive had and I take a lot of consideration of my peers and clients to ensure everyone is satisfied.
Any job Ive ever had has dealt with customer service from working in an office to working in a restaurant. Taking care of your guests, patients, or clients is a huge deal to the image of your business in almost any line of work and everyone should take in consideration of others.
This is basically me and what my customers will see. I have been in professional positions my entire adult life. My appearance was accepted at my largest client, Harpo Studios, when I worked as an account manager for Grainger Industrial Supply in Chicago
I read the article about how nice is your ride. The article supported the module’s comments about making a good first impression on your customer, based upon what you drive up to their property with. This hit home as my Explorer carries tools, pressure washers, ladders, etc. Not impressive. I need to go truck shopping.
This photo of a Home Inspector’s vehicle is a good example of how it should NOT look when arriving to a home inspection. The Home Inspector’s vehicle should be clean and presentable upon arrival at the home inspection, just like the Inspector himself and his attire.
A home inspector’s attire should be chosen to be consistent and practical for performing the job for which he was hired. If the inspector is actually at a residence to inspect that home, he should be wearing clean, neat, and undamaged clothing that conveys both a sense of professionalism, and readiness to perform the job efficiently and effectively.
Smile. Its simple and makes you feel better so then you sound better to others. Smile before and while talking on the phone it will transmit through your voice to the person on the other end. You don’t want to be the grump on the other end of the phone.
Over-Occupancy Rental Laws for Inspectors. It is beyond the scope of work to report the evidence of over crowded occupancy. If it is very obvious then it can be reported. Most counties and cities have limits on household occupancy limits.
People tend to unconsciously judge another person by their handshake. There are ways to shake hands properly that leave a positive impression. Grasp the other persons hand so that your palms touch. Provide a firm grasp. Give an intentional shake – two or three actions, at most. Do not grasp tightly. Dont test the other persons strength.
