If the dryer is not present in a home. Do you test the receptacle for power? Thanks.
If its a standard 110 outlet why wouldn’t you test it.
I test the 220 if the dryer is not hooked up, or if the dryer is gas and the 220 is accessable.

That was my thinking. It was a simple mistake not testing the outlet to begin with. Lesson learned.
