I think I’m missing something here. The red arrows designate service entrance cable and yellow is cable at weatherhead. If there is reason, why is this service drop conductor disconnected? Much appreciated!

If that is the neutral that is disconnected, the power company should be called right away because it is a serious safety hazard.

Good Find. That is critical to be repaired immediately. Larry has it right, POCO should be called.

Edit: the tape on the other connections makes me think that someone cut the POCO connections, and used mechanical connectors to put it back together. Likely work was done without a permit. Was the tag cut at the meter by chance?
