NO. I’m sorry but straw and hay are not the same thing. Are there no farm boys out there? Hay is grass, and where I come from is mostly Timothy. In Kentuky, Blue Grass. etc. straw is the stalk left over from harvesting grains. Hay is fodder straw is bedding.
