I am sorry, but I don’t see any stains. Do you have a picture?

I did not notice an attitude, only a lack of visuals.

What Todd is merely stating is we can’t comment

wpepley and Tallen

I was commenting on the original post from Rafael stating he might have to become a HI to get an answer from us. Many non-members visit this sight, ask questions and get ligitimate answers for free. The attitude expressed by the original post implied that because Rafael was not a member, he could not get an answer. That is what I was commenting on. icon_confused.gif

Looks to me like the stains are mineral deposits left by rain water hitting the walk and splattering onto the wall.

See this a lot around here. It is usually seen at areas without hard surfaces, only soil.

I know what you mean, Todd. The soil in my yard is mostly red clay and I have to pressure wash my brick annually.

You see that a lot in Florida from sprinkling systems. If they use a well for the supply it will satin stucco where it comes in contact. I can’t see how far out the concrete goes so I can’t say for sure.

Those stains are from mud splash due to lack gutters and of straw not being put down during construction! If it is an acrylic finish there is a good chance they will not come out now! Paint is another option!

If it was your house wouldn’t you want the best!!

I would have to agree with Carl on those stains. I still work in construction also and if we don’t put down straw after the finish coat of stucco and it rains the mud splashes up and stains it. We have not come up with a way to remove the stain.

I use to use muratic acid to get mud stains out of colored stucco! I used it mixed fifty/fifty wet the wall with the water hose used long handeled brush put the acid and water mixture in a hudson sprayer spray the wall scrub it quickly and rinse ! The only problem with that it would darken the stucco. It would get most of the mud stain off .

I would agree with the mud from rain prior to the concrete placement. I have seen developers “fog” the stucco. My understanding is the “fog” system is a type of paint…but it matches the existing color without painting the entire house.

I have never seen straw used in this area. I would think that would be a customer service item.

We use a product called White-Ox. It works great for taking stains off. It is made right here in Titusville.
