I actually have a real inspection tomorrow morning…my 3rd one. The house is
vacant so I went there this evening to get a head’s up. There is a
package A/C / forced air gas pack unit on the outside. The realtor
told me that there is no air handler inside. Question 1: Is it ok
to fire up the furnance, and then turn on the A/C? Since it is not a
heat pump and the compressor would only be used for A/C, I’m thinking
it is ok to test both. Question 2: How do I know that the A/C is
electric and not some kind of gas chiller? The manufacturer is
Fabrique Par Armstrong.
Thanks for your help!
