In my area, if the LA is aware that there’s’ a FP panel installed in the house they will most always advise their client to replace it, plan on paying for it later, or possibly losing out on a sale because of it.

Most local media news outlets and insurance companies have information about these panels online, here’s a few from my area.

Those are some good articles. Links in the report are always a good idea to corroborate safety information and ward of the agents who are always trying to minimize defects and “grandfather” everything.

I always love the line, “Its worked just fine for 50 years.” As if it’s a fine wine and gets better with age! LOL
